Austintown-Fitch lost to Harding back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Austintown-Fitch Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-61 win over the Harding Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted against the Raiders since February 17, 2022.

Austintown-Fitch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcel Finkley, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 26 points and six rebounds. The game was Finkley's sixth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Owens, who posted 17 points and five boards.

Austintown-Fitch's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Harding, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.
