Volleyball Recap: Eastland Takes a Loss

Eastland lost against Durand back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Trixie Carroll paced Eastland's offense, picking up ten kills. Carroll got some help from Keara Kaus and her 17 assists.

Eastland's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Durand, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Eastland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rock Falls on the 18th. As for Durand, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Milledgeville on the 18th.
