Softball Recap: Clements Comes Up Short

The matchup between Clements and Lauderdale County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Clements Colts lost 24-0 to the Lauderdale County Tigers. The Colts' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lauderdale County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clements will venture away from home to square off against Florence at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lauderdale County, they will head out on the road to face off against Colbert County at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
