Volleyball Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

Woodbridge entered their game against St. Margaret on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Woodbridge Warriors fell 3-1 to the St. Margaret's Tartans. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Woodbridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 26-24.

Woodbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodbridge will take on Portola at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Margaret's, they will venture away from home to face off against Irvine at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
