Volleyball Recap: Davidson Fine Arts Takes Down Cook in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Davidson Fine Arts had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cook Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Haidyn Sikes went supernova, getting 24 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Serenity Welcher, who had nine digs and two aces.

Davidson Fine Arts' win bumped their record up to 23-20. As for Cook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 20 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Davidson Fine Arts nor Cook have any future games scheduled.
