Softball Recap: Chatsworth Comes Up Short

Chatsworth was the 11-5 winner over Eagle Rock when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chancellors lost 11-5 to the Eagles on Saturday.

Chatsworth saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crystal Ayala, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ayala also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Chatsworth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Eagle Rock, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Chatsworth has already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Harvard-Westlake on the 5th. As for Eagle Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Bishop Alemany on the 5th.
