Baseball Recap: Carolina Forest Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Carolina Forest took on Conway on Tuesday. The Panthers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-4 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Carolina Forest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brice Urso, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Matthew Kellner also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Conway, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

While Carolina Forest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
