Parrish Community's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-7-2. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 0.3 goals per game. DeSoto County's draw gives them a new season record of 12-2-1.
Parrish Community will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Venice at 6:00 p.m. As for DeSoto County, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
