Mt. Vernon managed to slip by Neosho the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mountaineers lost 11-1 to the Wildcats on Monday. The Mountaineers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Mt. Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Neosho, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon will face off against Nevada at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neosho, they will challenge Kickapoo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
