Volleyball Recap: Normal West Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Normal West faced off against Edwardsville on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Normal West now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Edwardsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Normal West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against St. Charles East on the 11th. As for Edwardsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Naperville North on the 11th.
