L.C. Bird fell victim to Monacan and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost nine in a row.

L.C. Bird's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Monacan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

L.C. Bird does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monacan, they will square off against Powhatan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
