Basketball Recap: Economedes Starts off Right with Win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest

Economedes had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas 67-26. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Javelinas recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Aniel Solis was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Prudencio Cantu, who posted five points and eight steals.
