After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West County, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Crystal City Hornets 8-1. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Jays in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won seven in a row.

Jefferson's record is now 8-9-1. As for Crystal City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Crystal City will both be playing Grandview the next time they take the field. The Blue Jays will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
