Baseball Game Preview: East Sac County Raiders vs. Pocahontas Indians

East Sac County is 1-9 against Pocahontas since June of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. East Sac County has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Sac County managed to slip by Glidden-Ralston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 11-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.56 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Algona, sneaking past 13-12. Pocahontas' win was all the more impressive since the Bulldogs were averaging only 3.67 runs allowed on the season.

East Sac County's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Pocahontas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
