While Taylor's win against Bradley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Bears 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won eight in a row.
Anistyn Nolte made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Macy Downs was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
Taylor's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bradley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
