Soccer Game Preview: Plymouth Whitemarsh vs. Quakertown

The Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials are taking a road trip to face off against the Quakertown Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Plymouth Whitemarsh has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Quakertown will arrive with three straight victories.

On Wednesday, Plymouth Whitemarsh didn't have quite enough to beat Pennridge and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Plymouth Whitemarsh have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quakertown). They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Saucon Valley on Saturday.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Quakertown, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-2.

Plymouth Whitemarsh took their victory against Quakertown when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 6-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonials since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
