Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield lost against Biglerville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fairfield Knights fell just short of the Biglerville Canners by a score of 52-49.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Biglerville, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southern Huntingdon County at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Biglerville will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Littlestown at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
