Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Evangel Christian

The Trinity Christian Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Evangel Christian Lightning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Trinity Christian came up short against Fort Dale Academy, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Evangel Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springwood.

Trinity Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Evangel Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Evangel Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2016, as Trinity Christian made off with a 4-0 win. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does Evangel Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
