Softball Recap: Robinson's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Robinson lost against Westville back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Robinson fell just short of Westville by a score of 8-7. The loss was the Maroons' first of the season.

Mallory Mosbey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ella Bunten, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Robinson fell to 3-1. As for Westville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Robinson is taking a road trip to take on Martinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Robinson's pitchers better be ready for this one: Martinsville has averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
