Softball Recap: Oasis Christian Lions vs. Santa Fe Catholic Hawks
Oasis Christian was the 9-8 winner over Santa Fe Catholic when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Oasis Christian Lions suffered a rough 21-4 loss at the hands of the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks on Monday. Oasis Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Amber Whittington was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-2 with a triple, a stolen base, and an RBI. Bailey Cochran was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
On Santa Fe Catholic's side, Maisy Schiller was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackie Miranda, who went 2-for-2 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
