Madison Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the New Hope Indians as they made off with a 33-10 victory. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Indians are ranked 327th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for New Hope, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Madison Academy will head out to challenge St. John Paul II at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Hope, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Plainview at 7:00 p.m. The Indians will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
