Basketball Recap: Watonga Takes a Loss

Watonga lost against Hooker back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Watonga Eagles fell 55-48 to the Hooker Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 61st).

Watonga has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Hooker, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Watonga nor Hooker have any future games scheduled.
