Volleyball Recap: Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers vs. Philip Barbour Colts
Buckhannon-Upshur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Philip Barbour Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8.
Buckhannon-Upshur now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Philip Barbour, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-12-1.
Buckhannon-Upshur will welcome Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Philip Barbour has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lewis County on the 15th.
