After a string of six wins, Northtown's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and the Von Steuben Panthers finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. The result kept Northtown happy, as they haven't lost a game since August 30th.

Jessi Aviles and Nicolas Jimenez scored all three of Northtown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

With that draw, Northtown's record moves to 6-3-1. As for Von Steuben, they moved theirs to 6-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northtown will head out to take on Northside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Von Steuben, they will venture away from home to face off against Proviso West at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Proviso West will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Von Steuben surely won't give up without a fight.
