Preview: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Guilford Grizzlies
The Lyman Hall Trojans will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Guilford Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Lyman Hall will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Lyman Hall didn't have too much trouble with Law at home as they won 53-36.
Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Guilford made off with a 45-44 victory over Lauralton Hall. The victory was just what Guilford needed coming off of a 59-36 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Keira Reynolds, who scored 20 points along with seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Guilford's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Kukta, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Lyman Hall now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
Lyman Hall and Guilford were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Lyman Hall came up empty-handed after a 36-35 defeat. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Reynolds, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
