Football Recap: Philip Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Philip can now relate to. They took a blow against the Wall Eagles on Friday, falling 56-6. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Mohr, who rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Mohr's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Another player making a difference was Tanner Volmer, who rushed for 80 yards and one TD.

Philip's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Wall, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Philip does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wall, they will face off against Howard at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
