Basketball Recap: Big Sandy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Big Sandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Danbury Panthers by a score of 45-34 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-38 back in January.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camrin Lynch, who posted eight points and six steals. Danbury is 6-2 when Lynch posts five or more steals, but 12-13 otherwise. Egan Oakes was another key player, putting up nine points.

Big Sandy's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Danbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-15.

Big Sandy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-40 win against Sabine Pass on the 7th. As for Danbury, they have also already played their next matchup, a 93-18 defeat against Evadale on the 7th.
