Football Recap: George Walton Academy Starts off Right with Win over Cross Keys + How To Watch

George Walton Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cross Keys Phoenix 44-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-0.

George Walton Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Baylor Lowe and Cole Peppers.

George Walton Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-6 win against Lake Oconee Academy on the 22nd. As for Cross Keys, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-6 loss against Riverside Military Academy on the 22nd.
