Football Recap: George Walton Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Cross Keys + How To Watch

George Walton Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cross Keys Phoenix 44-6. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 37-point advantage.

Aj Dillard threw for 62 yards. Jackson Wells was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Zack Wolf rushed for 58 yards.

George Walton Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Oconee Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cross Keys, they are taking a road trip to face off against Riverside Military Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
