Volleyball Recap: Hamilton County Takes a Loss

Hamilton County lost against Edwards County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Foxes fell 2-0 to the Lions.

While Hamilton County ultimately came up short, they really made Edwards County work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-10.

Edwards County was led to victory by Jaycee Kolb and Braelyn Troyer. Kolb had 13 digs and one assist, while Troyer had nine digs. That's the most digs Kolb has posted since back in September.

Hamilton County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Edwards County, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hamilton County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Woodlawn on the 20th. As for Edwards County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Robinson on the 18th.
