Dillon Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Lake View Wild Gators at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dillon Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four matchups.
Dillon Christian posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Conway Christian with a sharp 65-45 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Dillon Christian has posted against Conway Christian since January 29, 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dillon Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Outlar, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Thompson Stone, who scored 14 points along with eight steals and seven assists.
Lake View suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 71-46 defeat at the hands of Trinity Collegiate. While losing is never fun, Lake View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Trinity Collegiate is ranked 107th).
Dillon Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Lake View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Dillon Christian couldn't quite finish off Lake View in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 and fell 62-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lake View's Jayden Ford, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. Now that Dillon Christian knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
