It was a good run, but Gainesville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Plato Eagles, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in April.

Gainesville's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Plato, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.

Gainesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plato, they will venture away from home to face off against Bernie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mules will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
