Preview: Lewisburg vs. Lake Cormorant
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Lewisburg should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will look to defend their home turf against Lake Cormorant at 7:00 PM. Lewisburg will be looking to avenge the 6-28 loss they took the last time these two teams played.
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Lewisburg and Fayette Ware. Everything went Lewisburg's way against Fayette Ware last week as the squad secured a 44-0 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 23-0.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 9-58, which was the final score in Lake Cormorant's tilt against Horn Lake. Lake Cormorant were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-45.
