Basketball Recap: William Penn Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

William Penn won against Spring Grove last Tuesday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The William Penn Bearcats managed a 60-54 victory over the Spring Grove Rockets. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by exactly six points.

Leading William Penn to victory were Nasir Barnes and David Warde. Barnes posted 13 points, while Warde put up 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yoziah Romero, who had ten points.

William Penn pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Spring Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

William Penn will head out on the road to face off against Bishop McDevitt at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Spring Grove, they will host Dallastown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
