Football Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Prairie View's offense. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of the Fairview Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Thunderhawks in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Ki Ellison was his usual excellent self, throwing for 140 yards and three TDs on only nine passes for Fairview. Joby Saad was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Prairie View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fairview, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prairie View will square off against rival Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairview is set to face off against their familiar foe Fort Collins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 13.7, the Lambkins 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
