Football Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prairie View extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They took a blow against the Fairview Knights, falling 56-0. While losing is never fun, the Thunderhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Knights are ranked 11th).

As for Fairview, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average over those games.

Ki Ellison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes. Joby Saad was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Prairie View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-21 defeat against Brighton on the 10th. As for Fairview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-29 win against Fort Collins on the 10th.
