Softball Recap: Chase County Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Chase County was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against the Mission Valley Vikings, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Chase County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mission Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

While Chase County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
