Basketball Game Preview: Juanita Ravens vs. Bellevue Wolverines

The Juanita Ravens will venture away from home to face off against the Bellevue Wolverines at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Juanita came up short against Mount Si and fell 57-50. The Ravens have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Bellevue ended up a good deal behind Liberty on Friday and lost 57-39.

Bellevue's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 16-4. As for Juanita, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Juanita came up short against Bellevue when the teams last played back in January, falling 58-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bellevue's Athena LaBow, who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on her way to 21 points.
