Maple Hill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hudson Bluehawks a 6-0 shutout. Considering Maple Hill have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Maple Hill's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Hudson, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
