Basketball Recap: Copan Takes a Loss

Copan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-28 loss at the hands of the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 50-27 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Copan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wesleyan Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Copan will venture away from home to challenge Bluejacket at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wesleyan Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Foyil at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
