Volleyball Recap: Winfield Comes Up Short

Winfield lost against Seckman back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Jaguars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19.

Marlie Karsten paced Winfield's offense, picking up two kills. Karsten got some help from Amelia Conrad and her two assists. Conrad was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Winfield's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for Seckman, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-2.

Winfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Festus on the 20th. As for Seckman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bishop DuBourg on the 20th.
