After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Guilford, Belvidere North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Jefferson J-Hawks by a score of 53-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-40 back in December of 2024.

Jefferson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Abbie Bracius, who posted 19 points, and Alanna Morehead, who had 20 points. The match was Bracius' fifth in a row with at least 18 points.

Belvidere North's victory bumped their record up to 9-21. As for Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 4-26 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belvidere North will welcome Freeport at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harlem at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
