Andrews Osborne Academy took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Mogadore, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Phoenix narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Phoenix as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Iris Parker was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and one assist.

Andrews Osborne Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mogadore only served seven aces.

Despite the loss, Mogadore still got an impressive performance from Gracie Shull, who had 13 digs and two aces. Shull is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Andrews Osborne Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Mogadore, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Andrews Osborne Academy has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Western Reserve Academy on the 13th. As for Mogadore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Laurel on the 13th.
