Noble Street College Prep came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wells Raiders. This was payback for the Golden Tigers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Noble Street College Prep who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 22-25, 25-19.
