Basketball Recap: Arkport Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Campbell-Savona last Saturday, Arkport Central came back down to earth. The Arkport Central Bluejays fell just short of the Fillmore Eagles by a score of 61-58 on Monday. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Arkport Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fillmore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Arkport Central will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Jasper-Troupsburg at 7:15 p.m. Arkport Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 174 points over their last three matches. As for Fillmore, they are taking a road trip to face off against Allegany-Limestone at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
