Thayer Central Gets a Boost from Souerdyke in 60-18 Victory

Starting off the list is Thayer Central's Sam Souerdyke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Souerdyke rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Thayer Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Souerdyke and Thayer Central will head out on the road to take on Exeter-Milligan/Friend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sandy Creek Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Ethan Shaw

Ethan Shaw was instrumental in extending Sandy Creek's winning streak to seven on Friday. Shaw did his part (and then some), rushing for 106 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 183 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes for the 'W'. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.

Unfortunately for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Shaw. Shaw rushed for 85 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt the last time he and the Bobcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Connor Rempe Goes Supernova in Sandy Creek Victory

Connor Rempe was instrumental in extending Sandy Creek's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Rempe as he picked up 38 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards.

Unfortunately for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rempe. When Rempe last faced the Bobcats back in September of 2023, he picked up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 51 yards.

Jacob Huxoll Puts an End to Sutton's Losing Streak on Thursday

Sutton's three-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jacob Huxoll. Huxoll was unstoppable on Thursday, making 11 total tackles.

Sutton now has a winning record of 4-3. Huxoll and Sutton will square off against Tri County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pollet Posts Huge Game in 56-18 Victory

Another Sutton player making an appearance on this list is Wyatt Pollet. He threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 120 yards.
