Cedar Ridge posted their closest win since September 9th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Hutto Hippos 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Cedar Ridge was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-20, 26-28, 25-19, 15-11.

Cedar Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 19-16. As for Hutto, they dropped their record down to 13-25 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cedar Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Vista Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hutto will face off against rival Stony Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
