Basketball Game Preview: American Prep WV Eagles vs. North Sevier Wolves

Having just played yesterday, the American Prep WV Eagles will jump right back in to play the North Sevier Wolves at 12:50 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

American Prep WV heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 58-44 to Kanab.

Meanwhile, North Sevier was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 52-48 to American Leadership Academy.

American Prep WV's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for North Sevier, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

American Prep WV didn't have too much breathing room in their match against North Sevier in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 75-69 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was North Sevier's Randy Elmer, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and five assists. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for American Prep WV to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
