Soccer Recap: Campo Verde Gets the Win

Campo Verde's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past the Arizona College Prep Knights 2-1. The Coyotes wouldn't have won without Addison Orr, who scored the game-winner.

Campo Verde's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8-1. As for Arizona College Prep, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4.

Campo Verde will head out to challenge Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chaparral will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Campo Verde surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arizona College Prep, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Desert Mountain at 6:00 p.m. Arizona College Prep's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
