Victory Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 75-49 to the Legacy Academy Warriors. One positive for the Conquerors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Victory Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Legacy Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stephens at 7:00 p.m. on January 23, 2025. After both having extra time off, Legacy Academy and Gospel Light Christian will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. One thing working in Legacy Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
