Stonington got themselves on the board against Montville on Wednesday, but Montville never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Jace Wolfradt was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Brayden Wolfradt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Stonington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Stonington has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Montville, they moved to 9-2 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
